Our Hanoi, Da Nang and HCMC-based team of over 25 Research & Consulting specialists is the largest and most experienced property research team in Vietnam. Coming from a diverse range of educational and professional backgrounds, the team consists of economic and financial analysts, desk and field researchers, forecasters, property experts, editors and publishers. 1. Market Research


An in-depth analysis of one, or more, property sectors in a specific geographic area. Providing a historical overview of the market, a review of the current situation and an evaluation of the future potential within the sector, a market research study will provide actionable intelligence to make an informed decision. We cover 13 sectors including: education, golf course, hospitals, hotel, industrial, logistics, office, residential, resort, retail, serviced apartments, townships, and vacation villas.

 

2. Development Consulting & Feasibility Studies


Our track record demonstrates that we are in the best position to advise developers in determining the highest and best use for their land. We provide detailed development recommendations that include: unit mix and layout, projected selling costs, phasing, sales strategy, and design briefs.

 

A feasibility study analyses the financial viability of a project, based on either CBRE recommendations or our client’s plan. With proprietary software, and using our industry leading models, our feasibility studies are tailored for each client, specific to their needs. The analysis includes: detailed operating revenues and expenses, internal rate of return, net present value, and potential reversionary value.

 

3. Corporate Consulting


Assisting corporate occupiers to align their real estate and corporate business strategies to maximise business performance. Our corporate consulting capability encompasses master planning of future occupational requirements, strategic portfolio planning for utilisation of existing properties and real estate assets, location studies and comparative office surveys.

 

4. Retainer-based Consulting


Retainer-based consulting can maximise value for the client having ‘on-call’ access to the dedicated support of the entire CBRE Research & Consulting Department. Our clients gain first-hand knowledge of buyer’s tastes and preferences, current market trends. Our extensive experience of real estate development in Vietnam make as an invaluable partner during the development process. Our services include input advice from a range of sector specific specialists on all aspects of the development process, availability of senior staff to attend workshops, limited scope research and analysis, and assistance in preparing and conducting high level presentations.

 

PUBLICATIONS

The Research & Consulting Department publishes a thought leading quarterly report that provides critical insights into the Vietnamese property market. Offering subscribers actionable intelligence, the CBRE Quarterly Report is the only publication of its kind in Vietnam. Additionally, we publish the Hanoi and HCMC MarketViews.
