The real estate market in eastern area sees advantages of infrastructures

Summary The HCMC property market in 2014 is predicted to see many more optimistic factors, in which, the eastern area, according to analyses of property traders, will be the leading area for the market thanks to the advantages in prices and infrastructures.

Mr. Marc Townsend, CBRE Vietnam’s managing director, said one of highlights of the property market in 2014 is the breakthrough of infrastructures, places which have good infrastructure-developing policies will draw attention from customers. The eastern area of HCMC will be one of these highlights.

The eastern area of HCMC includes districts 2, 9, and Thu Duc. In recent years, the city’s infrastructure-developing policies have strongly aimed at the eastern area, with a mass of key infrastructure projects, which have been invested into. At present, Thu Thiem bridge, Thu Thiem tunnel, and Vo Van Kiet are completed, linking the central area of HCMC to the whole area. Saigon bridge 2 was officially put into use in late 2013, creating a rather complete traffic network in the eastern area.
