In 2015, HCMC real estate market witnessed the highest property transactions rate in the market's history, said CBRE Vietnam based on statistics collected in the whole year. The company also forecasts that the supply will continue to grow in 2016, potentially causing competition pressure. According to Marc Townsend, managing director of CBRE Vietnam, when the market grows too fast and too hot, we need to act flexibly and timely. Meanwhile, Duong Thuy Dung, Head of Research and Consulting at CBRE Vietnam, said that property investors should not ignore affordable but high-quality and mid-end apartment segments, because these are real demand of buy-to-stay customers. Some notable brands of these segments include Dat Xanh Company, Nam Long Group, Khadihouse, etc.
