An Nguyen has been named the winner of the Women of the Future Awards, South East Asia.
Vietnam, March 21 – An was selected from a shortlisted pool of five female professionals in the property and construction sectors.
An is Director of Professional Services, CBRE, Hanoi, Vietnam. She has an overview of Research, Consultancy, and Valuation Advisory which includes overseeing feasibility studies as well as providing consultancy for development and property investments. On receiving her award she said, “ In addition to supporting young professional women, my vision is to help improve the quality of property products offerings in Vietnam and pave the way to a more transparent property market.”.
This is RICS’ inaugural Women of the Future Awards outside of the United Kingdom. As talent shortages are more widespread in Asia than any other region – more than 48% of Asia pacific employees say that talent shortages are posing difficulties in the hiring process. Tapping into under-utilised talent pools is crucial in order to ease the talent shortage in Asia – Women as a demographic group represent an extremely large untapped resource. The programme aim to encourage, motivate and provide role models to inspire and strengthen the female talent pipeline and in the process create a global community of supportive and collaborative women.
