Mr Le Trong Hieu, Director, Advisory & Transaction Services of CBRE presented a market snapshot of HCMC which covered total current and new supply in Q1/2018, the market forecast of 2018. Besides that, Mr. Hieu gave his views about the needs of tenants in the upcoming time.
At the event, Mr Aylwin Tan, Chief Customer Solution Officer of Ascendas-Singbridge Pte Ltd, which is a stakeholder of Ascendas Saigon Bund, gave an insight on the considerations that went into the planning of OneHub Saigon. Mr. Le Trong Hieu shared” Q1/2018 recorded many deals with large spaces in CBD and decentralized area from manufacturing, distribution, co-working, IT, banking and insurance companies. Despite no new suply in Q1/2018, some developers are actively developing new Grade A and B Office Buildings in order to make up the supply for the period of 2019-2020. One of which is Office Tower 1, OneHub Saigon by Ascendas-Singbridge in Saigon Hi-Tech Park, District 9, to be completed in Q1/2019. This location is under prioritized area to develop of HCMC which includes a serie of undergoing projects of infrastrure and residence such as metro line No.1, National University of HCMC in Thu Duc and Thu Thiem area in District 2.
