On March 9th, Vietnam Economic Times organized the National Conference themed “Vietnam Economic Scenario 2017: Business – Investment in a Changing World”. Speaking at the event, regarding real estate industry, Duong Thuy Dung, Director of Research and Consulting, CBRE Vietnam, said 2017 will continue to be lively with many projects launched for sales in different segments. However, 2017 will be also a more difficult year than two previous years, as there are already too many projects launched for sales over years. Therefore, the market might hit into the point of saturation. “The number of projects at loss this year will be seen more. However, I do not believe that 2017 will see the rise of affordable housing and the fall of high-end segment like other forecasts”, said Dung.
