In its latest report on “The looseness and the boom of Asian insurance firms in real estate market”, CBRE Vietnam expected to see US$75 billion investment in the real estate market in next five years from Asia-based insurance enterprises. In details, the fact that regulations that limit Asian insurance firms from investing in realty market are being loosened by time has increased investment in the market. According to Marc Giuffrida, Executive Director of CBRE Global Capital Markets Group, with a low profit ratio and the insufficiency of investable shares, especially in order to stabilize income, Asian insurance firms will seek for business opportunities in foreign countries. He expected that the capital inflow to real estate sector will continue to increase.
