Investors and speculators are not something exclusive to property market, as any kind of market has them. However, distinguishing them apart is not a simple task. According to Duong Thuy Dung, Senior Directors of CBRE Vietnam, among recent sales events of some projects, there are many customers buying 10-20 apartments, or even the whole floor, in order to re-sell. However, in reality, these buyers are not just simply speculators who hoard products and wait for price hikes, causing harm to the market. In contrast, they are investors who actually evaluate the project’s potential, buy to resell or to hire, stimulating the market’s demand.
