The tightening on property credit in short-term will not happen as negatively as many people have worried. However, in long-term, banks will have strict management on property loans. According to Nguyen Hoai An, Deputy Head of Research at CBRE Vietnam, the modification of the market will not be affected by Circular No.06, but mainly by psychological factors. Only up to this year-end, the new policy might have clearer influence, which will affect new projects due to harder time to mobilize capital. At that time, many property firms will have to change their plan to develop projects, in order to reduce risks in long-term.
