HCMC secondary property market is weakened

According to Marc Townsend, Managing Director of CBRE Vietnam, the number of apartment-buyers to re-sell is too high, and the fact that there are even cases that re-sell products at prices lower than the buying prices shows that the secondary property market is being weakened. He forecast that in 2017 and 2018, there will be certainly worries on the oversupply of finished housing, and it is questionable about the profit when investors who buy apartment for hire occupies up to 70pct of home-buyers.
