Ford invests $82 million to expand Vietnamese plant

Ford Motor Co (F.N) said on Tuesday it is investing US$82 million to expand its plant in northern Vietnam to boost production capacity. The construction will expand the facility across an additional 60,000 square meters of land, bringing the total area to 226,000 square meters.

Switzerland provides financial aid for HCMC’s green transport development

The project has a total investment capital of US$ 10.7 million, of which the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) entrusted US$ 10.5 million non-refundable aid to the World Bank, and US$ 202,000 will come from Ho Chi Minh City’s budget.  The project on technical support is expected to contribute in improving the quality and efficiency of the public transport system in HCMC.

Starbucks Vietnam opens new concept outlet at Ecopark

 

 

Starbucks Vietnam has opened a concept store at a new urban development called Ecopark in Hung Yen, near Hanoi, its 63rd store in the country. Located at the heart of Summer Park, Starbucks Ecopark features a mixture of rural and modern aesthetics, creating “a space that seeks a sense of harmony with its natural surroundings and the buildings bold structure,” the company said in a statement.
