CBRE: Hanoi condo prices tend to decrease

CBRE Vietnam recently released a report to update about housing market in Q1 2016, showing that the market is seeing a decline compared to the same period last year. In accordance, the report recorded 4,318 new apartments launched for sale from 16 projects, down 18pct y-o-y, in which 11 out of 18 projects are from mid-end segment, accounting up to 49pct the total apartment for sales in the quarter. CBRE predicted that in upcoming quarters of 2016, the south and southwest areas of Hanoi will be the one with the largest supply, up to 75pct the market's total supply.
