According to a recent survey of CBRE Vietnam, the speed of revenue growth of Vietnam retail sale market will be over 25% this year, with sales to reach over VND1.5 trillion. Moreover, 68% Vietnamese population are under 40 years old, which shows the market’s attractiveness in coming years. Local experts also commented that retail sale market will see new breakthroughs in 2012. It is predicted until 2012 that Vietnam retail sale market can reach a scale of USD113 billion. At present, big brand names like Metro Cash & Carry, Parkson, Diamond Plaza, etc. have operated in Vietnam. In the coming time, Vietnam may receive more retailers. All-Mart, Carefour, FairPrice and Tesco are setting plans to penetrate in Vietnam market.
