Asia retail market sees new trend

In the report on Asia retail markets conducted by CBRE, as the demand on high-end retail segment of the region is in a stalemate, a new trend is being formed and will become a steady force-driving factor in upcoming years. According to Henry Chin, Head of Research at CBRE Asia-Pacific, the high-end retail market occupies one-third of global revenue in 2014, and the Asia-Pacific region is an important region for international high-class brands with essential markets like China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan. However, the strong growth of high-end retailers in the region is gradually reaching the end. Meanwhile, Joel Stephen, Head of Retail at CBRE Asia, affirmed that with high potential customer density and increasing of high-income people in the region, Asia-Pacific market will continue to attract international retail brands.
