2015: A promising year for Asia – Pacific real estate market

According to Henry Chin, Head of Research at CBRE Asia – Pacific, there are many factors boosting investment growth in the region, including newly-established private property investment funds, the increases of investment organizations, the operational development of Asian investment organizations and abundant capital supply. Additionally, the combination of high liquidity and low growth of interest rate allows investors to hold on essential assets in order to maintain the current prices, as they do not want to sell their assets at discounted prices. Thus, CBRE forecasts the growth of rental prices and capital value will reach 2-4pct for office, retail and industrial sectors in 2015.
